LCD Soundsystem feels bad about missing III Points Festival a year ago, and they want to make it up to Floridians.
Electronic rock band LCD Soundsystem announced Monday morning that it would release its new record, "American Dream", on Friday, Sept. 1. The band has scheduled just one Florida date on their American Dream Tour, and it's in Miami.
Presale tickets will be available June 20 at 10 a.m.to June 22 at 10 p.m., and regular tickets go on sale on June 23 at 10 a.m. Check out the first two singles, "Call the Police" and "American Dream", below.
The Brooklyn band will release the long-awaited follow-up to 2010's This Is Happening at the start of September, followed by a string of tour dates in Europe and America. The accompanying tour includes dates in Europe, Canada and 15 US cities. Find full details at the LCD Soundsystem website and check out the album tracklist below. After years in hibernation, the band returned to the stage with a pair of NY shows in March 2016, followed by a tightly curated list of festivals and other performances, including the hurricane-dashed set on the III Points bill.
