Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer advance

Third seed Federer, a seven-time victor, eased past German Mischa Zverev 7-6 (3), 6-4, 6-4 in one hour 49 minutes to reach round four for the 14th time in his last 15 appearances.

3rd seed Federer defeated Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 7-6 (0), 6-3,6-2 while Djokovic defeated 22-year-old Adam Pavlasek of Czech Republic, dropping just five games 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.

Del Potro, a Wimbledon semi-finalist in 2013, was pushed to the brink of retirement after three wrist surgeries. Hard courts are usually more tougher on the body than the grass. We go one round at a time.

Seven-time champion Federer was on Centre Court straight after Djokovic, beating Mischa Zverev in straight sets. And the numbers at the end reflected his sheer class. "I always got along very well with John", Djokovic said.

While the world No. 4 hadn't noticed any issues with the grass in his opening matches, after hearing complaints from several other professionals, he was more mindful of the conditions during his third-round tie.

The 35-year-old Swiss is looking to become the oldest man in the professional era to win the title.

Federer is set to face No. 13 Grigor Dimitrov in the Round of 16 match Monday.

McEnroe's comments about Djokovic came one week after telling reporters on an ESPN conference call that he was surprised by the loud reaction to his comment that Serena Williams would rank 700th on the men's tour.

Djokovic, who extended his head-to-head against Gulbis to 7-1, is through to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the 10th time.

Djokovic won the last of his 12 majors at the 2016 French Open — his fourth Grand Slam title in a row.

Novak continued that momentum in the second to lead 5-0 before Gulbis registered himself on the scoreboard.

The match against Pavlasek was played on No. 1 Court, the same stadium where Djokovic lost to Sam Querrey in the third round past year.

Murray is the only member of the Big Four to have dropped a set and neither Federer or Djokovic were ever really tested on Saturday.

"I've been feeling better on the court as I said in the last couple of months".

Djokovic will now face France's Adrian Mannarino, who was a surprise victor earlier on Saturday against compatriot Gael Monfils.

Djokovic will now face Adrian Mannarino, who ensured Gael Monfils' dubious distinction of never having reached the second week of Wimbledon goes on. Murray is one of four British players on Friday's schedule, along with Aljaz Bedene, Johanna Konta and Heather Watson. He came into Wimbledon with little match practice - a first round loss at Queen's and hamstring injuries during the season.

Oozing confidence, Raonic even banged down a second serve ace at 138mph.

"I'm frustrated because I lost and I stayed like two minutes on court today", said Tsonga. "But I think it does send a positive message, at least on my behalf, across the net when I can be there, (I've) been winning a good amount of those important points".
