IN lands first ESPN 100 recruit in forward Jerome Hunter

After being pursued by virtually every major program in the country, the No. 2 ranked basketball player in the state of OH has elected to join the in basketball program.

Hunter announced his decision Monday afternoon on Twitter.

"I truly appreciate all the schools that have recruited me, the relationships with coaching staffs and everyone who have supported me to this point".

He joins Race Thompson and Jerome Hunter as players that have pledged to Miller and the IN program for 2018, although Thompson plans to reclassify to 2017 and redshirt during the 2017-18 season.

He is ranked as No. 60 in the class by recruiting website 247Sports. However, while now heading to another Big Ten powerhouse in IN, the young small forward also garnered offers from the Butler Bulldogs, Dayton Flyers, Illinois Fighting Illini, Penn State Nittany Lions, North Carolina State Wolf Pack and several other high-profiled schools from around the country.
