Recalls issued for nearly 2.1 million Honda Accords

Honda introduced a redesigned battery sensor in June 2016.

Honda says it will notify Accord owners impacted by the recall before July 31.

It remains to be seen how automotive reviewers will react in general to the 2018 Honda Accord, what with early reviews still coming in slowly but surely.

The 2018 Honda Accord will come with optional manual shift on select versions of the new midsize sedan. With outer body resembling German sports sedans, Accord 2018 is ultimate when it comes to exteriors.

A large-scale review Honda Accord is announced for the US market. On the interior part, you can actually judge this one by its cover.

The company says its new 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is actually more powerful than the previous V-6, generating 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.

The direct-injected engine is a 1.5 litre engine and includes 16 values of double overhead cam (DOHC) with dual variable timing control (dual VTC). This means, Honda has ditched the V6 engine in the latest model.

Otherwise, there will be a 6 speed Manual Transmission option also available of the auto.

Right now Honda has not yet revealed the official date on what the Accord 2018 will do its first debut in India. Even the vehicle gets new engine options, including 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol mills, which also comes with the Civic Type-R.

With three advanced powertrains, including all-new 1.5L and 2.0L turbocharged and a next generation two-motor hybrid system, this Accord will be the most fun-to-drive and fuel-efficient model yet. But bringing the auto to India as soon as possible is surely on the cards of the Japanese Motor Company as the Indian vehicle market has always given the company great business.
