Vic Mensa's gonna dodge jail time in his loaded gun case after cutting a deal, unless he chooses jail over cutting a check.
The hip-hop star, who is signed to JAY-Z's Roc Nation label, was pulled over by police in Beverly Hills, California in March (17) after failing to obey a stop sign and for having tinted windows on his auto.
According to TMZ, the Roc Nation rapper will get two years probation after pleading no contest to carrying a concealed firearm in his vehicle. Mensa faced two separate charges of carrying a concealed firearm and carrying an unregistered loaded firearm. During the stop, he informed officers that he was carrying a gun, but the permit papers he produced for the firearm were for another state. Apparently, he was risking two years in jail, but instead, all he has to do is pay $500.
