'American Horror Story' Star Sarah Paulson Joins M. Night Shyamalan's 'Glass'

The Cult actress will make her way to M. Night Shyamalan's own superhero universe as part of Glass, the sequel/crossover event that will merge his hits, Split and Unbreakable.

The cast of the Unbreakable sequel keeps getting stronger.

Following confirmation that work is progressing steadily on the Glass script, Shyamalan fans have plenty to look forward to from Glass proper come January of 2019. Hopefully, Shyamalan will continue to share news on the project directly with fans in the coming months.

Glass is set to follow the heroic trail of David Dunn (Bruce Willis) from Unbreakable in hot pursuit of Kevin Crumb (James McAvoy) from Split, how that Kevin has transformed into his superhuman Beast personality.

There's no word about Paulson's character in Glass, but she's the first notable addition to a roster already comprised of actors who will be doing return performances. Since the show started, Paulson's role on American Horror Story has evolved across multiple settings and scenarios which will collide when Murder House and Coven cross over in future seasons. The American Horror Story star's onboarding was announced on the director's official Twitter page on Monday morning. Glass and it appears he will again be central to the new movie's plot.
