'Our hearts are broken': Linkin Park mourns Chester Bennington

Postado Julho 25, 2017

Linkin Park has collectively made their first public statement since the passing of their fellow band mate by posting an open letter paying tribute to Bennington on their Facebook page. Cornell, a good friend of Bennington, also committed suicide previous year by hanging himself using an exercise resistance band in his hotel room. Loud sobbing can be heard in the background during the call. Please don't hesitate to call.

Linkin Park's front Chester Bennington has died aged 41. It also reminded Bennington and readers that he was the best husband to his wife, Talinda, and father to their son.

The rockers have yet to decide how to move forward as a band, but they will forever be grateful to Chester for sharing his talents with the group.

As soon as the news of Linkin Park's front-man Chester Bennington broke out, all the people wanted to know the cause of his tragic death.

Seven of the band's albums are on course to enter the top 40، with their debut، 2001's Hybrid Theory، now at number three and One More Light، released earlier this year، at five. The band's popular debut, "Hybrid Theory", checked in at No. 27. The statement, a letter written to Bennington, said "we know that each of our lives was made better by you".

"Our love for making and performing music is inextinguishable".

"Thank you for that gift. We need the music industry to step up, arm in arm with Help Musicians, and match our support pound for pound, so we are proud to launch the Music Minds Matter campaign".

The note refers to the singer's well-publicised struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as depression, saying the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. All tour dates were subsequently cancelled.

Bennington was said to be deeply affected by the suicide of his friend and Soundgarden and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell, and Bennington's suicide took place on what would have been Cornell's 53rd birthday.
