The name has been spotted on the official Samsung website with the model number SM-R365. Today we've got word that the next Samsung wearable device - a flawless companion for the Galaxy Note 8, as it were - just passed through the FCC. The South Korean company registered a "Gear Fit Pro' trademark way back in January, while the model number SM-365 got approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in June".
A different report by SamMobile has spilled the beans about its upcoming wearable device. It appears that the next hybrid smartwatch that Samsung plans to introduce is called Gear Sport. This comes not long after the same device passed Bluetooth certification, meaning - or at least indicating - that it's right on the verge of being revealed by Samsung in full. Fortunately, even though that can't be substantiated and not much else is known about the Samsung Gear Sport, this filing does seem to point to more information being made available at the Unpacked event later this month. However, it is suggested that the Samsung Gear Sport is meant to bridge the gap that exists between a fitness tracker and a smartwatch. Apparently, the new model will likely to replace the Gear Fit 2 which was launched in June past year.
