Cleveland Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer is out of Sunday afternoon's game against the Baltimore Ravens and is questionable to return, the team announced. Kizer won the starting job during the preseason, after he beat out Brock Osweiler and Kevin Hogan, which ultimately led to the Browns releasing Osweiler. As there was no notable injury to Kizer, social media was buzzing with people wondering if Kizer had gotten an early hook.
Kizer completed 6 of 11 passes for 81 yards with an interception.
It's unknown if this migraine headache was due to anything having to do with football, per se. Hogan hit rookie TE David Njoku for a 23-yard score on a five-play, 83-yard drive that was spurred by a 49-yard catch and run by TE Seth DeValve.
Hogan got some playing time last season, and flashed a good running ability for a quarterback when he rushed for 105 yards, and a touchdown in the four games that he appeared in. With the Browns most likely not competing for a playoff spot again this season, they should be overly cautious with their rookie signal caller.
