The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, 17 September.
And let's remember, this is supposed to be an event to highlight the year in television, not use it as a medium to fulfill a political agenda.
In addition to watching online via live-streams, viewers can watch the Emmys without cable on television by purchasing an over-the-air antenna.
For the die-hard fans, you can also tune to E! at 6:00 ET for the red carpet coverage which will feature assorted interviews with the actors, actresses, writers and directors that will be hoping to take home an Emmy later that night. Viewers in more than 125 cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, and Miami can watch the Emmys online through the CBS streaming platform (which is available on Apple TV, Amazon TV, Roku, and more). The show airs on CBS so having the host of Late Night was a ideal pairing.
The award show will be telecast live on CBS Television Network from 8pm ET and 5pm PT onwards.
Besides them, Alexis Bledel (The Handmaid's Tale), Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder), Seth MacFarlane (The Orville), Mark Feuerstein (Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later), Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts), Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead), Kaitlin Olson (The Mick), Jeremy Piven (Wisdom of the Crowd), Craig Robinson (Ghosted), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) and many other stars will also be presenting various statuettes at the ceremony.
