Aguero accepts prospect of Man City signing Messi is 'complicated'

Postado Outubro 12, 2017

Some things just aren't meant to change.

Messi has been a Barcelona boy since the age of 13, having come through the club's famous La Masia academy alongside the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique.

Only a handful of sides in the world could plausibly afford the 30-year-old, but with his contract running down next summer, perhaps a window of opportunity has opened.

His team fell behind after just 37 seconds of the match but were level 10 minutes later when the five-time Ballon d'Or victor prodded home from close range after a neat one-two with Angel Di Maria.

According to reports, Manchester City certainly think so and would be prepared to pay £357 million - or €400m - to secure his services.

The Argentina worldwide was ruled out his country's must-win World Cup Qualifier against Ecuador after a taxi in which he was travelling in Amsterdam struck a pillar.

Speaking to TyC Sports (h/t Sky Sports" Rory O'Callaghan), Aguero said he didn't realise he got very lucky until he arrived at the hospital: "When I got to the hospital I asked the doctor if I could play for City on the Saturday [against Stoke].

"I would love to have Leo on my team, but that seems quite complicated". "There is no need to worry".

"I left for nearly two days and went back to the airport and then got into that accident".

Just select seven players from across the Saturday and Sunday Premier League fixtures for your chance to bag that increased £20k prize this weekend. Today I trained normally, but without the group.
