Airlines slash ticket rates to stoke low Diwali demand

When a search on MakeMyTrip was made, it was noticed that prices have dropped drastically across all air routes for as low as Rs 1,100 all-inclusive. The travel period for the offer is from October 26, 2017, to March 24, 2018.

Low-priced carrier, IndiGo has announced Diwali special fares. The Vistara Diwali offer bookings are open from October 11, 2017 to October 13, 2017.

Vistara said in the release that passengers can book Delhi - Chandigarh and Delhi - Amritsar flight for Rs 1,199 and Rs 1,299 respectively; Delhi - Srinagar for Rs 1,699; Delhi - Leh, Delhi - Ranchi and Delhi - Mumbai for Rs 2,099; Delhi - Bagdogra for Rs 2,899; Delhi - Goa for Rs 2,999.

While Vistara is offering flight tickets starting at Rs 1149, GoAir is offering them at Rs 1073, and IndiGo at Rs 1141. The lowest rate of flight in Vvistara sale is on Srinagar to Jammu route, while other routes also have awesome and cheap fares such as flight rate for the route for Delhi to Chandigarh is Rs 1199, Delhi to Amritsar is Rs 1,299 respectively, Delhi to Srinagar is Rs 1,699, Delhi to Leh, Delhi - Mumbai for Rs 2,099, Delhi to Goa for Rs 2,999 and many other offers.

Ahead of the festive season, SpiceJet announced its "Cracking Diwali" offer which gives 50% off on booking hotels and 60% cashback on making payments for hotels with HDFC bank credit cards.

Interestingly, the GoAir offer says "Low Fare Wednesday", which means that the offer is valid only on Wednesdays.

AirAsiaTermed as "Year-End Grand Sale", AirAsia is offering all-inclusive fares starting at Rs1,299 on select domestic routes for travel between 2 October 2017 and 31 March 2018. According to the GoAir website, the sale is now underway and will be valid till October 31.

As usual, seats on offer under all these plans are limited and on a first come first served basis'. As always, the earlier you book, the better the deal!
