In case you didn't know..
There are conflicting reports on whether Neville was actually at Raw or if he quit days before the show.
Neville, a two-time Cruiserweight Champion and known as the King of the Cruiserweights, was last seen facing off against Ariya Daivari in the September 26 episode of the WWE Network exclusive show, 205 Live.
The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter corroborated the story and included information from a source close to the situation that said that "The King of the Cruiserweights" was done with the WWE. Neville was reportedly absent from several house shows as well and had to be replaced by Mustafa Ali. The plan was for Neville to lose to WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore in the non-title Lumberjack main event. There was talk of the match being made non-title, but then it was revealed that Neville wouldn't be there so the change to Kalisto was made.
Though Neville walking out on WWE was contested by PWInsider's report, their report indicated that the release request is true and that it may have been sparked by being left off the WrestleMania 33 DVD and not receiving royalties; similar to Austin Aries' complaints about the company prior to his departure. The Observer adds that the current plan is to get the title back on Enzo.
Neville signed with the WWE in 2012 and enjoyed success in the company's developmental brand NXT where he captured the NXT Tag Team Championship and NXT Championship.
