In The Evil Within 2, Sebastian Castellanos must once again confront unspeakable horrors within the nightmare born from the infamous alternate reality, STEM. Sebastian must rescue Lily before everything falls apart and they are both lost in STEM. The game is a sequel to the original Evil Within that was developed under the direction of Shinji Mikami with his new studio Tango Gameworks.
The game follows Castellanos as he goes in search of his daughter Lily, who was originally presumed missing. "Sebastian lost his partners from the police force, and learned that Juli Kidman, a rookie he had personally taken under his wing, was working for the very people who threw him into that nightmare", said Johanas.
Of course, Sebastian isn't alone in STEM - the world is being controlled and corrupted by the psychotic photographer Stephano, and fiery zealot, Theodore. Check out the twisted launch trailer below, and be sure to check back shortly after launch for THDR's full review of The Evil Within 2. He needs to step into this unsafe world, survive, and save his daughter.
Slated to hit store shelves and the digital scene on Friday the 13th this October, comes Bethesda and Tango Gameworks' The Evil Within 2. The official page on the PlayStation site for the game makes no mention of PS4 Pro compatibility, and there has been no mention of it prior to the game's release, either.
