Fury has not fought since November 2015, when he shocked Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf to claim the IBF, WBO and WBA world titles. - And again in the summer in a mega fight!
Speculation will now begin as to who Fury has lined up as his opponents in the new year, with a dream fight with fellow undefeated Brit Anthony Joshua being rumoured, but it isn't the first time the Gypsy King has prematurely made plans on Twitter, only for them to be quashed by the BBBofC.
Fury hasn't been seen in a boxing ring since his dramatic victory over Wladimir Klitschko nearly two years ago where he won the WBA Super, WBO, IBO and IBF championships.
But on Thursday, he wrote on social media he would "be ready to fight in April 2018 in a great fight". & again in back end of year.
Fury, who is now awaiting a date for his United Kingdom anti-doping hearing, is planning his boxing comeback following two years out of the ring with a "mega fight" next summer.
Fury's license was revoked in October 2016 after allegations of doping, and over the a year ago he has regularly switched between seemingly being content in his semi-retirement and appearing to be itching to get back in the ring.
