Bill & Brian Doyle Murray Playing Ball With Facebook Watch

Postado Novembro 14, 2017

Starting next week, though, Murray is taking his baseball love affair on the road: He and his brother, Brian Doyle-Murray, will explore the Minor League ballparks of America as part of their new show, "Extra Innings". The 10-episode digital series will debut Monday, November 20, with new episodes available weekly on Mondays.

"A little something to fill a baseball fan's off-season hole in the heart."

Judging by footage previewing "Extra Innings", viewers can expect quite a few laughs as the brothers, who are both executive producers, embark upon their journey to visit the St. Paul Saints and Charleston RiverDogs as well as Martha's Vineyard Sharks and the Kansas City T-Bones.

Doyle-Murray added that the project was "more fun than a bench-clearing brawl". They'll also head to the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum to hang with kids and pay homage to tragically lesser-known baseball history, respectively. The series is from Oso Studios, co-creator of Showtime's Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus.

Oso founder Dub Cornett explained that the concept for the show arose from a chance meeting between himself and Brian Doyle-Murray. "Facebook is a great place for this show", Cornett said.

Facebook users can catch the Murray Brothers' minor-league travels and add the show to their watchlist on the "Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray's Extra Innings" show page.
