Ten suspects on five mopeds raided the flagship store early yesterday.
The Metropolitan Police said that it received reports of an aggravated burglary at the store at 12:45am on Monday.
Witnesses report that several of the thieves made their way inside to grab display models, while a few others stood watch.
Detectives are examining CCTV images of the incident and appealed for witnesses today. The mopeds are then seen driving off northbound.
"Two iPhone Xs were later recovered near Kings Cross [train station]".
One customer, Hajra Ali, 37, from Ilford, told the newspaper that this was not an isolated attack in the capital.
"There have been loads of moped attacks in my area, they even use them for house break-ins", he said.
Scotland Yard hopes that their new BMW motorbikes will help them chase down moped criminals.
The raid comes as police are battling an epidemic of moped related thefts and raids across London.
According to police, 1,009 mopeds were stolen in London in October 2015; this April they stole 1,598.
