The male voice in the audio clip reportedly asks IS agents to carry out Las Vegas-type terror attacks. The man in the audio has been identified as Abdul Rasheed, an engineering graduate and the leader of the ISIS module in Kasargod, threatening attacks during festivals where crowd throng in large numbers.
Further, the clip gives advise on how to carry out the attacks at Thrissur pooram and Kumbh Mela.
Officials were reported to be analyzing the message.
The clip says that Muslims should go for "Hijrah" (migrate) from "Darul Kufr" (house of non-believers) to Darul Islam (house of believers).
"You can poison them, ram trucks into their gatherings including festivals like Thrissur Pooram or Kumbh Mela".
Police officers said they have been analysing the message for the last couple of weeks and the details were not publicised till now.The ten-minute clip liberally quotes from the Quran with an authentic Arabic pronounciation. It happens in other parts of the world also... Abdullah has been chargesheeted under IPC section 120B r/w 125 and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) Sections 38,39 and 40. At least you should try to derail a train. The male voice makes clear references to the Las Vegas shooting on October 1, where many innocent people were gunned down by a person during a music concert.
The clip has surfaced at a time when Kerala Police have received inputs about at least 100 people from the state suspected to have joined the Islamic State. Further, it says that if it not possible to do that, then people must offer financial assistance to Daulatul Islam and the Islamic State.
In 2015, a countrywide investigation caught several people who were alleged members of the Islamic State group. An Interpol Red Notice has also been issued against him. "They are going to take the battle to India from Europe and the Middle East".
Kerala DGP Loknath Behera said that the matter is being thoroughly investigated.
