Santa Claus is coming to town on Saturday

The approximately one-hour parade is capped off by a police escort of a float with Santa and Mrs. Claus and then kids can enjoy cookies and cocoa with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Consumers Energy on Energy Plaza Drive.

Businesses, groups, schools, bands, walkers and animals of all kinds are all encouraged to join in the parade this Sunday evening, November 19.

The parade begins at 6 p.m.

Residents are asked to park on 100 Street north of 100 Avenue to watch the parade. The Chatham-Kent Fire Department will be in the parade, collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items for the food bank. Don't forget to bring your letters.

Signature Sponsor CNB Bank will have a tent with giveaways and goodies located on Main Street in front of the bank, which will also be the location for the judging as parade entries pass by the bank's volunteer judges.
