Davido is standing with Kiss Daniel as he responds to the lawsuit from his former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment via his lawyers, L & A Legal Consultants.
The record label alleged that the seven years deal signed by the singer has not expired, adding that the artist breached the deal with series of actions contrary to the provisions of the contract.
Singer Kiss Daniel left his former record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment to launch his own record label "Flyboy Inc".
However Kiss Daniel's camp said they "have not received letter or court papers from anyone", following G-Worldwide's public notice and obtaining a court injunction dated November 30, 2017.

The label said the "upload, distribution, and or performance of any of the songs, as well as the use or exploitation of the name Kiss Daniel can only be done with its "prior written consent and permission". LIMITED Vs OLUWATOBILOBA DANIEL ANIDUGBE to affirm its rights over the intellectual property under the Contract i.e. copyrights over the songs in both albums, and rights over the stage name: "Kiss Daniel'".
"With regards to the name "Kiss Daniel", our client was already using the combination of the stage name "Kiss" long before he ever met G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd".
"Further thereto, the Company has approached the Federal High Court, Lagos in suit no. FHC/L/CS/1758/2017 between G-WORLDWIDE ENT".
