This year, the company celebrates the anniversary of two classic games, so it decided this was the flawless moment to release them for free download.
Assassin's Creed Rogue was originally released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 day and date with the release of Assassin's Creed Unity for PlayStation 4, Xbox one, and PC in November 2014. The grand prize victor for each photo contest will receive a free season pass, a free t-shirt and have their in-game photo put on display at the Ubisoft Montreal offices.
If your photo happens to be selected as a runner-up, you'll receive a free season pass code, giving you access to all the future DLC set to arrive for Assassin's Creed: Origins. Both of them will be available on Uplay PC for free.
Just be sure to take advantage of the promotion while it's active, or you'll miss out on getting the game for free. However, they have to be quick enough and get the games while they're free.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be available starting December 12 through December 18. World in Conflict will get here first, together with its Soviet Assault expansion.
From now to the 11th of December you'll be able to pick up strategy game World in Conflict for absolutely nothing. That said, as we mentioned before, The Game Awards is coming up tomorrow, and we also have PlayStation Experience this weekend, so there's a possibility that we could see the announcement at that time. If you followed all instructions and downloaded the games correctly, then Black Flag and World in Conflict should remain in your Uplay account even afterwards.
