Manchester United still in EPL title race: Nemanja Matic

Postado Dezembro 17, 2017

City will have the chance to move 14 points clear of second-placed United when they host Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday's late kickoff, and it appears that Pep Guardiola's side will run away with the Premier League title this season.

The Red Devils head into their league tie with West Brom at the Hawthorns 11 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City after 17 games.

Indeed, Jose Mourinho's side have won 4-2 at Watford and 3-1 at Arsenal in their last two away fixtures, and will face West Brom this weekend before making the trip to an in-form Leicester City on December 23.

The Red Devils have slipped 11 points adrift of arch-rivals Manchester City, with a derby defeat at Old Trafford doing their cause few favours.

West Brom welcome Manchester United after a buoyant 0-0 draw at Anfield in midweek but Pardew is still looking for his first win since he took the job last month.

"The gap is big, obviously 11 points is a lot, but the league is not finished". Manchester United at home will be a very tough game but the home team will hope the fans can help get a point at least. We will see what will happen.

All in all, I think that there is no real value in betting on Manchester United to win this game so I think we should avoid that bet. If we want to catch them, we have to win nearly every game.

He added: "But as we know, and as everyone knows, in the Premier League it is not always possible to win every game, but we will try to do that".

"Obviously we are still in the title race".

A look back to one of the most eventful Premier League games in history which was also Sir Alex Ferguson's last game as a manager.
