Former MLB player signs with WWE

Another professional athlete is going to be trying his hand at professional wrestling.

- ESPN reports that WWE has signed former Major League Baseball player Rinku Singh of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He won the 2008 reality TV series The Million Dollar Arm, and he was later signed to the Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. and his life story later inspired the Disney film Million Dollar Arm in 2014.

Singh, 29, was signed after taking part in a tryout in Dubai back in April.

"I would have never dreamed, growing up as a skinny kid from a small village in India, that after many turns and crossroads, I've been given this fantastic opportunity in the WWE", said Singh. Singh is set to report to the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday, January 16 to start his training. But it does not matter where you came from.
