For the quarter ended December 31, Airtel's African operations reported a 5.3 percent growth in revenue over previous year on constant currency basis. Airtel's Africa operations have reported consistent profits over the past few quarters, with net income for Africa for the quarter ended December standing at $76 million against a loss of $93 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
