Klopp probed about Liverpool goalkeeping situation

Loris Karius and Virgil van Dijk defend a high ball in Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Tottenham last week.

It's taken the ex-Mainz man a while to adjust to life on Merseyside following his £5.58 million move in July 2016, but things are finally starting to look up.

Het Belang van Limburg say Mignolet may have "played his last match" for Liverpool, with Klopp now picking Karius for the Champions League as well Premier League.

Klopp admits he is unsure what the future now holds for Mignolet, who recently admitted he is considering his options after being dropped to the bench.

Klopp's next move in the transfer market is going to be an interesting watch.

The Belgium worldwide was Klopp's Premier League goalkeeper of choice for the first half of the season, with Karius appearing in just three matches in the top flight prior to the turn of the year.

"Of course he has to adapt a bit because our style is so different".

Liverpool are in a virtually unassailable position heading into the second leg at Anfield, and Klopp will not only be delighted that his vaunted attack of Firmino, Mane and Salah ran riot at the Estadio do Dragao, but also that his side kept a clean sheet.

"I am feeling good and getting consistent game time helps a lot", the 24-year-old is quoted as saying by The Telegraph. I have to make a decision for tomorrow night and that's all.

"I always try to be there when the team needs me. I enjoy every day of being here as it's a great club". "I don't know about it", said Klopp.

"It is not the same situation as it was".

"The crowd is there to make life hard for the opponent, but it wasn't too hard for him from this point of view and I'm happy about that".
