The game - which is now set to launch sometime in September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC - will mark the first game in the franchise since 2003.
Check out the announcement teaser trailer below. Well, do not despair, since Bigben Interactive announced their new game instead of Remastered, and that is V-Rally 4.
-Rally: From Africa to Sequoia Park and Japan, travel the world along hard tracks and in extreme conditions, such as snow, ice, and mud.
Are you looking forward to returning to V-Rally in September?
Five different types of tracks - Rally, Extreme-Khana, V-Rally Cross, Buggy, and Hillclimb - will be available in the final game in both the Career and Online modes.
V-Rally Cross: Leave your opponents in the dust on these dirt/asphalt tracks and take on 7 expert adversaries.
V-Rally was first released in 1997 on PlayStation 1, revolutionizing the genre with 3 game modes and a selection of real-world vehicles and famous tracks. Not for the faint of heart!
The V-Rally series of off-road racing games, developed by Eden Games and published by Infogrames Multimedia, was quite popular in the late 1990's and early 2000's, but has unfortunately not seen a new entry since V-Rally 3 released on PC, PS2, Xbox, and GameCube throughout 2002 and 2003.
It'll boast some 50 models of auto and a variety of different events including straight-up rally, gymkhana, rallycross, hillclimbs and buggy events.
