ULA Atlas V Rocket Ready For Liftoff From Cape Canaveral

United Launch Alliance is scheduled to launch their Atlas V rocket carrying the AFSPC-11 mission for tonight from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

This will be the 77th launch of the rocket Atlas V. This mission would be for ULA 127 since the founding of the company in December 2006.

Coverage for the launch starts at 6:43 p.m. ET and can be seen on Space Coast Daily TV.

According to ULA, the payload of the rocket includes the Continuous Broadcast Augmenting SATCOM (CBAS) satellite and a spacecraft labeled ESPA Augmented GEO Laboratory Experiment, or EAGLE.

Weather permitting the launch will take place on 15 April at exactly 02:13 Moscow time and will last about two hours.

Meanwhile, SpaceX plans to launch its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral on Monday.
