"Police and health teams responded on Sunday to a verbal and physical fight involving about 150 people at the Gurdwara Sikh temple in the city just south of Indianapolis" the Fox News quoted Matthew Fillenwarth Assistant Police Chief of Greenwood as saying.
The fight started over a process to select temple leaders, which happens every two years. He said he believes there was a worship service going on when the fight broke out.
RTV6 reported no one had been charged Sunday afternoon.
Police say a brawl at a Gurdwara in suburban Indianapolis has left four people with minor injuries.
Authorities interviewing participants in the struggle and are now reviewing surveillance video clip.
Authorities said someone reported a pepper spray bottle found thrown into a garbage can but could not confirm whether anyone at the scene was attacked with pepper spray.
