E3 2018 Attendees Will Need to Register to Play Super Smash Bros

Postado Mai 16, 2018

To shorten the time fans will need to wait in line to try it, Nintendo invites E3 attendees to reserve play slots ahead of time for just this game.

It's not clear what Nintendo will bring to E3 2018 besides Super Smash Bros., but expect games like Mario Tennis Aces and the recently released Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to be present.

Anyone who registers for E3 2018 by May 31 will receive an email from E3 organizers on June 5 with details about how to reserve one electronic ticket to play the game (available while time slots last). It's very important to register because Nintendo will not be allowing on-site registration.

Nintendo have announced that, once the game is officially unveiled at June's E3 event, the mysterious Nintendo Switch Smash Bros. title will be available to play at various events across Japan.

For more details about ticketing, visit the official Nintendo of America E3 2018 website for continuing updates. As of right now we know surprisingly little, other than the fact Inklings will join the roster and Link will adopt his Breath of the Wild attire, but we should learn a lot more at the event.

Reservations will not be taken for any other games at Nintendo's booth, which will be available to play on a first-come, first-served basis. Nintendo's video presentation will stream on Tuesday, June 12 at 12 p.m. EDT before the convention center opens, so fans will have a clearer idea of what will be playable in Nintendo's booth.

Furthermore, with Switch being extremely successful one would assume that Nintendo will finally drop the support for the 3DS, however, Nintendo has noted that it will support 3DS until Switch becomes a one-per-person system.
