Researcher Have Found That Some Calories Cause More Harm Than Others

We all know that there are some good calories and some bad ones. However, the chances of getting the diseases increases even when the beverages are taken in moderate quantities that does not lead to weight gain. The new study suggests that calories from any food product are capable of getting you increased obesity and other diseases related to cardio-metabolism. According to the University of California, Davis, sugar sweetened beverages play a significant role in chronic health problems. Around 22 researchers were made on this subject which explored all the calorie types and examined whether all of them are equal when it comes to considering the effects of cardio-metabolic diseases and obesity. But in their next conclusion, the nutrition researchers agreed that aspartame (artificial sweetener) did not promote weight gain in human adults.

It's just one of the conclusions published today in Obesity Reviews in a position paper by a group of researchers who participated in the 2017 CrossFit Foundation Academic Conference. According to the latest study, an extensive review of the science on diets was done which explains that it can cause obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and type II diabetes as well. He said that if you go on the internet and look up aspartame, the layperson would be convinced that aspartame is certainly going to make them obese which are not true.

Another important thing to consider here is the role sugar substitute aspartame.

The authors also agreed that consumption of polyunsaturated (n-6) fats, such as those found in some vegetable oils, seeds and nuts, lowers disease risk when compared with equal amounts of saturated fats. Dairy foods such as yogurt and cheese, which can be high in saturated fats, have been linked with reduced cardiometabolic risk.

"We have a long way to go to get precise answers on a lot of different nutrition issues", said Stanhope. The authors agree with the fact that a healthy diet consisting of processed whole grains, fruits, veggies, and healthy fats help promote health as compared to that of typical refined palatable western diet.
