Dash cam: Kangaroo hops along SC highway

Postado Mai 17, 2018

Officers at McCormick County Sheriff's Office were dispatched after receiving reports of the rogue animal on a highway on May 15.

The kangaroo he refers to is one that was found galloping in the small farming town of McCormick in South Carolina, USA, on Tuesday morning.

Obviously, kangaroos are not native to SC.

The McCormick County Sheriff's Office says a kangaroo was loose overnight in the Clarks Hill area.

There is no state law that prohibits someone from owning a kangaroo, according to Capt. Robert McCullough of the S.C. Department of Natural Resources.

A kangaroo is back home after giving drivers along one SC road quite a surprise.

Stearns, who's been in law enforcement for more than 30 years, said the early morning call to dispatch was a first for him.
