Kate Middleton takes George and Charlotte to watch William in polo match

The siblings demonstrated their similarities to the average toddler while blissfully playing, rather than watching, dad Prince William compete in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy match in Gloucester, England on Sunday.

The royals were out in force for the Trooping the Colour.

A third added: 'Prince George has a toy gun ....really!'.

Middleton, who is still on maternity leave, looked every inch the doting mom as she chased her young children around the polo grounds, stopping to comfort Prince George who became fussy as the afternoon wore on. Thought he was a sensitive child.

Princess Charlotte performed gymnastics barefoot during the polo match.

'Better if he was seen playing with a toy vehicle or football. Little Charlotte adorably practiced her headstands in front of mother Kate, and was even sporting a pair of very cool sunglasses.

Giving us deja vu today, Savannah and George have unconsciously replicated the incident, showing just how times have changed, but the antics of young British Royals haven't.

George was no doubt delighted to be reunited with his cousin Savannah, who on Saturday was pictured cheekily covering his mouth with her hand as they watched the Red Arrows flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess was making a surprise outing at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire on Sunday.

Both mum and kids looked happy to be relaxing in the park the day after the annual Trooping the Colour parade. Tickets to the event were on sale to the public and included access to a traditional fun fair plus all the usual rural exhibitions and demonstrations.

The Maserati polo match was just one of many Prince William, alongside brother Prince Harry, will play during the English summer as they do every year to raise money for charity.
