The Game of Thrones spinoff will begin filming in the fall.

It looks like we won't go as long as we thought without Westeros, because HBO's "Game of Thrones" spin-off will start filming in Belfast in October of this year, according to Deadline.

Because the series in set so far into Westorosi history, don't expect any of your favorite characters to show up in this - unless you truly love the Night King.

Emilia Clarke paid tribute to HBO's "Game of Thrones" in an emotional farewell Instagram post.

Or maybe they'd fight for your honor, another trait that seems to constantly pop up in Game of Thrones. The series is based on a story by George R.R. Martin and series creator Jane Goldman.

"The series chronicles the world's descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour".

"From the horrifying secrets of Westeros' history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend...it's not the story we think we know", HBO stated in June.

According to the George R.R. Martin's lore, the mysterious beings joined forces with the First Men to defeat the White Walkers and their undead army of Wights during the War For The Dawn. He announced that Jane Goldman will serve as showrunner; she also wrote the pilot script. Martin said no one from the original cast will reappear in the new show, which will predate their world by thousands of years.

"Game of Thrones" characters have been bidding farewell to their beloved characters as filming for the eighth and final season wrapped this summer.
