'That's some next level, right there, ' joked her daughter.
And for Jada, being a child with a mother on drugs was a guessing game for her. "I could tell when my mother was high".
Adrienne has now been 27 years clean, and broke down while talking about her past. She was embarrassed to say that it was all because of a man she was interested in.
"At that time, I didn't think I was anything without a man". That's the thing about me: I can go cold turkey.
During a Q&A session with a fan, Pinkett Smith took the opportunity to speak about her issues with sexual addiction.
"Alcoholism and drug addiction runs through my family and I've had my own addiction that I've had to get over", Pinkett Smith admitted.
Jada also said that her addictions "jump around", and that she's also battled an addiction to drinking and to the gym. "They jump around", she said. "When I was younger, I definitely think I had a sex addiction of some kind. You know what I'm saying", Jada continued.
Jada and the other guests assured Banfield-Jones that however she was able to beat addiction was the blessing she needed, whether that came in the form or a man or not.
The actress also revealed that she had previously battled an alcohol addiction and that she realised she had hit rock bottom when she drank three bottles of wine whilst home alone. 'And I was like, "Now hold up".
"I was in the house by myself and I had those two bottles of wine and was going for the third bottle", she said. "You just realize, oh, that's not being exhausted, that is like, a drug problem".
Jada added, "So I went cold turkey". It's not what you're doing, but why you're doing it... if you want to have a lot of sex, that's great, but why are you having all that sex?
"That's what you've got to look at", Smith said.
This isn't the first time the 46-year-old has spoken about sex and hinted at her addiction. Jada said during her newest Red Table Talk episode. Jada noted that her grandmother was very open with her about sex from a young age. "I knew my job was in jeopardy", Adrienne said. Or she's nodding off, falling asleep in the middle of something.
Although we've all been taught to never judge a book by its cover, I fell into that trap with Banfield-Jones. Multiple orgasms. I was really into it at one point. I actually think like I went through kind of an addiction too with it. And then one day, I was just like, 'Enough. But why are you having all that sex? "You can create so much pleasure, you constantly want it".
