Display: The Mi A2 comes with a 5.99-inch "full-screen" FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 2160x1080p resolution and 403ppi pixel density. We put it to the test.
It is backed by a 3,010mAh non-removable battery and comes with a 5V/2A power adapter. However, the device looks quite different from the Mi A1 since it now has a near bezel-less design. Up front, it gets a 20MP selfie camera that comes with AI portrait mode. The phone initially launched in China as the Mi 6X, and it is now making its way to the Indian market with the launch which is scheduled to happen at 4 PM today. The front is big and bezel-less and there's a vertically aligned dual camera module on the back, reminiscent to how things are on-board the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also, the device packs an Adreno 520 GPU. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
- Although the Xiaomi Mi A2 runs a near 100 per cent version of stock Android like a Pixel phone, the phone also ships with the a few Xiaomi apps like the Mi Feedback and Mi Remote apps. Internationally, Mi A2 was launched in three colours - gold, blue and black and hopefully Xiaomi will be launching the same colors in India as well. Xiaomi will not be bundling a Quick Charge 4.0 compliant charger in the box in India. Xiaomi Mi A2 is an Amazon-exclusive smartphone and it will also be able via Mi.com.
