Lisa Marie Presley is "proud" of the way she's overcome her battle with addiction, because even her therapist insists it's a "miracle" she is still alive. "It wasn't like it was happening all my life".
She's had a tough few years, and Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie isn't done with all her problems yet. "You really are.' She's like, 'I don't know how you're still alive", she continued.
Finally seeking help, Lisa-Marie said her therapist even expressed fears for her life at her worst point, and explained: "My therapist said "you're a miracle..." "I would want to know he's there".
She also details her attempts to get clean, stating she went to Mexico three, or four times to rehab. I have a therapist, and she is like, 'You are a miracle.
Now that she has made it back to living a healthy lifestyle, Presley says she hopes her story will inspire others.
Meanwhile, Lisa Marie was on the show to promote her new album, Elvis Presley: Where No One Stands Alone.
She went on to tell the interviewer, Jenna Bush Hager, that while she is "not perfect" what is more important is what she managed to do with everything she learned from her own mistakes. "No one's flawless. It's what you do with it after you learn and you try and help others with it".
"I've never seen, and I don't think anyone who had ever known Lisa Marie, has ever seen her lose her composure".
Speaking at her childhood home Graceland in Memphis Tennessee, she said she believes her father would be "incredibly proud" of the record and of their duet on his hit gospel song, Where No One Stands Alone. "And every single person in the booth, when we were recording, was crying", he recalled. "Because I was reading the lyrics and I was like, 'Oh my God".
