VENOM is Not Rated PG-13 (Yet)

Postado Setembro 14, 2018

It was only yesterday that we shred the news that the upcoming Venom movie will be rated PG-13, but fans can rest assured the possibility for a more intense cut of the film still exists.

If you're looking for the most Venom shirt possible to wear ahead of the movie release, you simply aren't going to do any better than this Venom Sinister Smile number.

"I honestly don't know what I'm allowed to say", Fleischer told the LA Times. "We'll have to see where it lands, I guess, but I wouldn't rule anything out". "But I don't want to get in trouble for saying something I'm not supposed to".

There has been speculation Sony would release the film with an R rating.

Venom will serve as the cornerstone for Sony's so-called Spider-Verse, a long-planned shared cinematic universe that may eventually include such ancillary Spider-Man characters as Morbius the Living Vampire, Black Cat, Silver Sable and Kraven the Hunter, so there's also undoubtedly also some concern about ensuring the films can reach a wider audience.

It's said Tom Hardy and director Ruben Fleischer have been working to inject humor into the story of journalist Eddie Brock whose body and mind are taken over by an alien symbiote.

In the same interview, Fleischer all but confirms that Venom will have a post-credits scene, so stick around through those credits when the film hits theaters on October 5th, folks.
