For the next 24 months, users will be required to pay a monthly EMI of Rs 2,799 which also includes the myPlan Infinity postpaid plan. Apple is either trying to spare the cost of those or knows for a fact that iPhone owners don't use them and prefer Apple's Lighting or wireless earphones. Notably, Airtel is also providing iPhone 8 and 8 Plus via its Online Store under EMI scheme.
Apple says apps will launch up to 40 percent faster on the iPhone 6S, for instance, and you'll be able to open the camera up to 70 percent faster. Super Retina in two sizes - including the largest display ever on an iPhone. This is priced at CNY 6,699 (approx Rs 91,300) which resembles iPhone XS 64GB's pricing.
While online sentiment was mixed, an obvious key focus was the high price tag - also a target of criticism around the launch of the iPhone X past year.
