President Donald Trump sent well wishes to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was hospitalized Thursday after fracturing three ribs, while also pointing out their political differences.

She'll be working from home Friday, to maintain an incredible attendance record over her quarter-century on the highest court in the land.

The justice's nephew Daniel Stiepleman told Reuters Thursday night at the premiere of "On the Basis of Sex", a movie about Justice Ginsburg's early career, his aunt was "doing great".

Ginsburg is the Supreme Court's oldest justice, and one of four judges considered to be liberal on the nine-seat court.

"I wish her well. I hope she gets better and I hope she serves on the Supreme Court for many, many years", Trump said.

Ginsburg apologized for comments she made during the 2016 election calling Trump a "faker". It was then confirmed that she had broken her ribs. "Asking for a Supreme Court justice".

Ginsburg was appointed in 1993 by former President Bill Clinton. She has had two prior bouts with cancer and had a stent implanted to open a blocked artery in 2014. As a result, she was forced to miss the formal investiture ceremony for new Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh at the court that morning.
