Marouane Fellaini again hit the headlines on Wednesday evening after pulling the hair of Arsenal's Matteo Guendouzi, and it did not go unnoticed by one of the Manchester United star's old adversaries.
Unai Emery has brushed aside controversy over Mattéo Guendouzi's hair by telling his youngster to get it cut.
Referee Andre Marriner saw the incident and awarded a foul, not booking Fellaini, though there is precedent for retrospective action.
"I think the best thing for the next match is for Matteo to cut his hair", Emery laughed. "Just as Fellaini did".
'I think there is a bit of jealousy there, ' Guendouzi told RMC Sports in the mixed zone after the game (via Metro Sport).
As reported by the Mirror, the Arsenal summer signing sent a dig towards the Belgian after he pulled his hair in a bid to catch up with the player.
The Spaniard, who is hoping his team continue to gel as they take a 20-game unbeaten run into their home match with Huddersfield on Saturday, sought to defuse the incident. Today with the camera all the situations happening in the 90 minutes, everyone can see.
