After the release of second full-length Captain Marvel trailer, Hasbro has officially unveiled its forthcoming spring 2019 toy line based on the film. But the first trailer wasn't on the menu then either, with the Russo brothers making it clear from the get-go they would not answer any questions about the next movie in the Avengers franchise. "Considering Captain Marvel's ties to the end of "Infinity War" there could be some connection between the two trailers", Polygon reports. It really begs the question; do we need these many promos all at once?
The modern film circuit is a non-stop publicity machine, often ruining the experience of watching the final product with spoiler-filled trailers, TV spots and more.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to be released on July 5, 2019. Could the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer be a tongue-in-cheek teaser about Peter Parker's return, rather than a full-blown trailer?
Despite that, Marvel Studios are at least nominally going to pretend that this isn't the case, as it's being reported by Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic that none of the dusted heroes will be featuring in the marketing materials for Avengers 4.
At the very same time, Express has speculated that the delay in the release of the trailer would be pushed back for President George HW Bush's funeral, who died earlier this week. It is possible and would be a better move than showing actual footage from the film.
