It's one of the hottest topics in the NFL: The whole Colin Kaepernick saga.

The Athletic questioned 85 defensive players from 25 different NFL teams on a number of QB questions, including whether or not Kaepernick is deserving of a spot in the league.

With 52 percent of the vote, the 41-year-old Brady was voted quarterback players would least like to face in a meaningful game.

In the meantime, every NFL team continues to sign downright bad quarterbacks instead of Kaepernick, who has expressed his interest to return to the league on several occasions. "And a majority of the teams with two quarterbacks, he should be the backup", adding, "And some places he should be the starter". Another 18 percent voted for Nathan Peterman who put up historically poor numbers whenever he took the field.

Kaepernick filed a collusion grievance against the NFL as he remains out of the league following his protests of racial injustice during the national anthem.
