"Then I don't know what more to say, I don't know the situation [with any potential transfer]".

Willian was on Thursday linked with Barcelona, but Sarri ruled out the prospect of the Brazilian departing this month.

The 18-year-old believes Hudson-Odoi can be "the next one" off England's current production line of talent, and revealed he has had talks with the Chelsea 18-year-old about life in Germany, amid a £35 million bid from Bayern Munich.

"I think that it is not professional because they are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea, so they didn't respect our club", he said. 'Hopefully, we will see more of that.

'He goes into the spaces and so I think that in this moment that Pedro is very important for us. He's got unbelievable qualities.

Hudson-Odoi, who largely operates as a left winger, has scored once and provided three assists in 12 first-team appearances for Chelsea.

I think there was a period where as fans we just wanted the world's best players in the Premier League but I think that's changed now. 'He needs to stay there and work hard to get chances to play in the team.

The Spaniard said: 'He is a good player, but he is very young.

Robben - who also previously played for Chelsea - has given an interview to beIN Sports saying: "He is one of the best (young players) in Europe".

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (back) is out and Morata (hamstring) is doubtful when the Blues face Newcastle, with Sarri hinting Hudson-Odoi and Andreas Christensen would drop to the substitutes' bench.

Talented winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has attracted interest from the Bavarians, who have made their intentions to clear about signing him.

Chelsea have indicated they will offer Hudson-Odoi a five-year deal but at present specific financial details haven't been discussed because the focus has been on where the player can develop best.

"If the Blues manage to hold onto the 18-year-old in January, it still looks as if he'll be a Bayern player in the summer with a move to Allianz Arena available at just 4/11".
