Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany doubts for Manchester City vs Wolves

Postado Janeiro 12, 2019

Pep Guardiola is unsure if Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany will be fit for Manchester City's game against Wolves, live on Monday Night Football.

The Premier League clash with West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on February 26 will also need to be rescheduled after City effectively confirmed a place in the Carabao Cup final with a 9-0 victory over Burton Albion in the semifinal first leg.

Manchester City will resume their pursuit of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League as Wolves visit the Etihad Stadium on Monday.

Guardiola said: "They have incredible players and there are not just one or two, there are three or four".

Their arrival in Manchester before Christmas coincided with an upturn in the forward's form, and Guardiola said: "The private life is the private life and if they need something we are there".

"Sergio was sick after the Liverpool game but joined in the training session today", he added.

"If you don't have injuries, if you are satisfied with the players, the squad you have, you go with them". Sometimes we judge the players, we don't know what is happening in the private life. "But it is what it is and he has to handle that situation".

Striker Aguero has been suffering from flu and sickness since the game against Liverpool while captain Kompany has had a muscular problem. I hope they will be ready'.

The manager said City would do everything they can to help Gabriel Jesus after close relatives including his mother, Vera Lucia Diniz de Jesus, returned to Brazil. He's not alone, he has friends, a special connection with the Brazilian players.

"For loan players, maybe it can happen, but I think the big clubs don't buy players for just five or six months, and they don't sell in that period". Right now, I don't know.
