Trump Mocks Elizabeth Warren Over Instagram Live Video

Postado Janeiro 14, 2019

In the tweet sent shortly after 9 p.m., Trump posted a clip from a live Instagram video that Warren shared on New Year's Eve after making the announcement, in which she showed viewers her Cambridge kitchen, introduced her husband, and sipped a beer.

President Donald Trump continued to train fire on possible 2020 challenger Sen.

On Sunday, Mr Trump said the senator, a 2020 presidential hopeful, should have filmed a commercial "from Bighorn or Wounded Knee" in "full Indian garb".

Some also alleged Trump's tweet was part of a strategy to divert attention from the Mueller probe, which is investigating potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation. "I'm glad you're here.' It's their house, he's supposed to be there!"

He added, "Best line in the Elizabeth Warren beer catastrophe is, to her husband, "Thank you for being here".

"Um, want a beer?" she then asked as her husband, Bruce Mann, briefly entered the room.

He has nicknamed the MA senator "Pocahontas" - who was the daughter of a 17th century indigenous chief - and used the name to mock her even in front of Native American veterans.

The test, performed by Stanford University professor Carlos Bustamante, concluded that while the vast majority of Warren's ancestry is European, there is definitive evidence that she has Native American blood. While she used the results to counter allegations she lied about that ancestry to get ahead in academia, Trump and other Republicans highlighted how diluted that ancestry was revealed to be.

And Trump, whose wife once went a month without being seen and stayed in Manhattan at the beginning of his presidency, also took a shot at Warren for thanking her husband for "being there" in the video.

Warren visited the early primary state of New Hampshire Saturday to deliver a message of economic populism and clean government. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) made after announcing her candidacy for president.
