Bala wants to end all this considering Dhruv Vikram's future.
Varmaa, is an upcoming Tamil movie, the remake of Telugu blockbuster movie in which young actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey played the lead role.
Recently the film industry had witnessed a huge shock as director Bala's version of Dhruv's debut Varmaa was scrapped and the production house E4 entertainment which was unhappy with Bala's version had announced that a new version will be made with a new director targeting a June release. The also clarified that Dhruv will continue to be the hero.
In a statement, Bala said, "I am forced to release this explanation, due to the false statement from the producer of Varmaa".
Now director Bala opened up on the controversy and released press note. "In order to safeguard creative freedom, it was my own decision to relieve myself from this project. Instead, we will start afresh, and shoot a new version of "Arjun Reddy" with Dhruv as the main lead staying true to the soul and intention of the original".
In his statement, Mukesh said: "E4 Entertainment had engaged B Studios to recreate the Tamil version of Arjun Reddy, titled Varmaa, on a first copy basis on the latter's insistence". We at E4 Entertainment are not at all happy with the final version handed over to us.
"Henceforth, E4 Entertainment has the entire rights in perpetuity for the above said film and is free to make changes, additions with the help of technicians and crew of their choice in completing the film", states the agreement. Hence, the production house has chose to reshoot the movie. E4 can further modify the existing version, with the condition that they must not use Bala's name anywhere in the project.
