Russo Brothers on Balancing Overpowered Captain Marvel in 'Avengers: Endgame'

Postado Fevereiro 11, 2019

We see Thor still sports Stormbreaker from Infinity War; Iron Man's armor looks to be an upgrade from Infinity War, most likely still using nanites; Captain America is cleanly shaven wearing a classic-looking Avengers suit; Black Widow has a little something on her left hand; Clint Barton is in all black, but the biggest reveal is the Hulk who happens to look a lot like Mark Ruffalo. After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. After the second trailer which was dropped during the famous Super Bowl match, Marvel has now released the movie's first official synopsis. "With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store", the synopsis reads. Marvel president Kevin Feige has already said that all the promotional material of the film is being taken out of the first 20 minutes of the film.

During a chat with Collider, directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed the current cut of Endgame clocks in at three hours, but that shouldn't worry anyone because of the reaction (or non-reaction we should say) from test audiences.

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos managed to attain all the infinity stones for his gauntlet and his snap at the end resulted in the loss of half the universe's life, which included numerous MCU superheroes.

Avengers: Endgame is nearly here but before then, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will get to meet Brie Larson's Carol Danvers as the titular hero of the upcoming March release Captain Marvel.

Avengers: Endgame premieres in theaters on April 26th. Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Spider-man and many others vanished after Thanos' snap.
