Fluker's deal reportedly is for two years while Iupati's is for one year.
Guard J.R. Sweezy was a mainstay on the Seattle Seahawks offensive line anchored a mini-dynasty in the mid-2010s. Unfortunately for Seattle's first-year offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, the Seahawks' offensive line regressed in pass protection last season, as quarterback Russell Wilson was sacked on over 10 percent of his dropbacks.
"They're a winning team", Iupati said in the team release.
Seattle should expect more of the same if Iupati is inserted into the team's starting lineup in 2019.
Coincidentally, the 2015 season saw Iupati stretchered off CenturyLink Field in Seattle with a neck injury before returning the following week against the 49ers on the Cardinals' run to the NFC Championship Game.
NFL Network first reported both deals. He would seem to be the first option to replace Sweezy at left guard, the position that Iupati has played throughout his nine National Football League seasons.
Fluker was a big hit for Seattle last year, coming over from the Giants on a one-year deal to reunite with offensive line coach Mike Solari.
Iupati's time with the Cardinals was defined by injuries, as the 31-year-old veteran didn't play a full 16-game schedule in any of his four seasons with the team.
