Donald Trump Jr, the son of US President Donald Trump, said it was "sickening" to see people lay blame for the Christchurch shootings on Ms Clinton simply because "she spoke out against anti-Semitism".
In a video posted to social media alongside the caption "People haven't forgotten the Islamophobic mob she incited against [Ilhan Omar]", a student identified as Leen Dweik is heard lambasting Ms Clinton at the memorial at New York University.
The student was referencing the comments Clinton made about Omar last month after the Minnesota congresswoman accused the pro-Israel lobbying group American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) of buying pro-Israel support. But Chelsea Clinton isn't responsible for that, and she certainly isn't responsible for the actions of a deranged white nationalist in New Zealand.
"These out of control activists get into a pregnant woman's face and blame her condemnation of Rep. Omar's anti-Semitic remarks as the cause of the Christchurch terror attacks", Loesch said. Clinton was among the many prominent voices denouncing Omar for her remarks on Israel, which were deemed anti-Semetic by many USA political figures. "I believe we have to show solidarity". "And I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deeply - 49 people died because of the rhetoric you put out there".
Clinton responded once more, "I'm so sorry you feel that way", before another student yells "What does "I'm sorry you feel that way" mean?"
Chelsea Clinton speaking at the Democratic National Convention in 2016. "We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism", Chelsea tweeted about Omar's accusation.
The video of the students confronting Clinton went viral and conservatives like Donald Trump Jr. and Fox News' Greg Gutfeld tweeted their support of Clinton.
Fox News' Greg Gutfeld quipped, "when the left has led the right to staunchly defend Chelsea Clinton, then the left must be irretrievably lost".
