Alagoas tem 77 mil alunos matriculados no ensino superior, aponta pesquisa

As instituições privadas apresentaram queda nas matrículas em 2016, passando de 6,07 milhões para 6,05 milhões. A diminuição na procura por cursos superiores pagos teve impacto na desaceleração do crescimento do setor. Segundo o Censo da Educação Superior 2016, elaborado pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep), a quantidade de matrículas subiu 62,8% entre 2006 e 2016, uma média anual de 5%.
